ARANIA STUDIO is a laboratory for wearable art, hand-knitted garments , and narrative pieces through textile manipulation and custom embroidery.

ARANA is a brand of unique garments inspired by the contrasting, saturated, and vibrant colors of my country, Venezuela, and its cultural and textile identity. Translates the country’s rhythms, colors, and shapes into garments that provide protection, comfort, and a unique style for contemporary urban individuals.

The practice spans several knitting techniques, from handmade to machine-made, and most recently, industrial machine knitting.

Inspired by the experience of driving through the jungle, where, within the vast and abundant green of the forest, vibrant and striking flora emerges unexpectedly, standing out in the middle of nowhere. This contrast between the surrounding landscape and these intense bursts of color informs my approach to color, pattern, and composition.

The sweater distinguishes each individual. It is a final statement in an outfit that communicates who you are.

The garment strikes as an element that emerges from its environment and makes the person visible.
